no he's saying they are our top players, or have been some of our top players this season just gone, which I agree is a problem in itself. we need a better spine if we can, there is only so much klopp can do with this current spine
I know he's had a go chris but there's no need to say you question his knowledge of football, no ones knowledge is perfect They aren't our top players though, they may have been brought in for big money but they haven't lived up to their price tags at all. Not in my view anyway. Bearing in mind he's questioning my support and having a go I stand by my right to question his knowledge. I agree nobody's knowledge is perfect and most things come down to opinions, I'd suggest MrShaw respects others opinions instead of having a go if his opinion differs. I have a pain in my bol*ix with people on this site fuming at people because they have a different opinion... And its happened to me as well, people having a go at me because i didnt want Mane for 30 million, they can go to f*k if they want to tell me my opinion is wrong. Hate when all the personal or sly remarks start coming out as well .... If 2 people have a different opinion on a player respect it and agree to disagree.... We all support the same team at the end of the day and thats the most important thing rather than fighting because its childish

It doesnt matter what manager we have there at liverpool, as long as FSG are owners of liverpool we will never be successful. These are the only type of signings we can aspire too now. Mane is one of the most expensive transfers so far and from what I have seen recently he has been better than Goetze who struggled to find his place at Bayern. Mane destroyed us when we played Southampton and saying that all Southampton players are big fishes in a small pond is unwarranted when you look at Bale for example. I really don't understand why you are being so negative as I am sure it is a Klopp purchase, are you saying Klopp doesn't know what he is doing?

I get there's no confidence in FSG but not Klopp. If he'd had a few disastrous transfer windows then maybe. But this is his first and although the players he targets might not be your preferred choice or price, just trust in what he is doing.

I f*king love Klopp as our manager. I think he will be brilliant IF hes backed correctly in a lot of ways. However Klopp isnt gonna solve all liverpools problems in 1 transfer market. Previous to all our signings, liverpool was a team full of squad players or well below par players and not enough 1st team quality. Klopp like every other manager has made mistakes. At dortmund, one of his (could be the biggest money) biggest transfers was signing mhitaryan for 19 million, who was an absolute bargain and success. He signed Immobile for 17 million if i remember correctly, also big money for dortmund, and he was a failure. Every signing klopp signs isnt all gonna be world class or even successful. However i do think the majority of them will be hits, but whether they live up to big price tags like 30 million only time will tell. Im just saying i dont agree with it. Im not saying the manager is wrong, i saying i wouldnt give 30 mil for Mane.

it's probably because we don't have rich owners and long term we've fallen. rather than it being anyone's fault individually There's your answer. This is EXACTLY why we aren't paying more than 200k p/w wages (which is what the players I presume you want us to sign) now demand. FSG are rich but they're not Sheikh/ Oligarch rich and it's not as if they are queuing up to buy us either. Just be happy its FSG and not Hicks & Gillet, things could be A LOT worse than they currently are, dot forget that. klopp's reputation should mean he's able to attract international talent He can- you just don't like the players he is after, doesn't mean they're not good. Grujic is his only signing so far that won't be going straight into the first team. He has, by all acounts, improved GK, RW and CB...so far. while I like zielinski he's hardly a full fledged international

Neither would Phil Thompson who has stated now he thinks its too much but he knows nothing either with a few on here. However, spinning it around he looks better than Sterling and has cost us 16 million less so.......... BARGAIN! Can live with that

I like the signing but the price is outrageous. Another thing is he will be away on African cup of nations duty midway through the season so that's not good when we need him. totally forgot about that...that is a nightmare
