On SkySports there is a whispers and rumour mill that does the rounds every day. We are linked with Lucas Moura of PSG constantly on it although I haven't really seen anything in the press about this.
He would be a great signing in my opinion, pure pace and an eye for goal but I can't see it with Mane signing.

another 'coutinho replacement' potential target?
I don't think we'll sign him either, now we've splashed on mane. it was a possibility we could sign 2 wingers though, even with ibe and lazar still in the frame.
I can't wait to see who goes though, we said klopp would come in and assess the squad, I don't think many back then would say he could assess the squad and not say there wouldn't be an exodus. so where is the exodus

Lucas could leave, hardly any midfield destroyers on the market (none of which we've been able to sign since mascherano went) gokan Inler leicester, M'vila sunderland lol, meaning we'd have less options available, klopp's plans need to really work. I don't like him, but william carvalho, he's similar to wanyama

Do we need a destroyer in midfield? Sometimes I think we do, sometimes I think we don't.
We either need a box to box mid, with Can sitting. Or a proper DM to allow Can to play the box to box role
It might just come down to who we can get, but the players we're linked with seem the more box to box type (dahoud etc.)

It might just come down to who we can get, but the players we're linked with seem the more box to box type (dahoud etc.) correct and ..correct (somewhat), but a proper DM is a midfield destroyer, unless we want a possibly poor deep lying playmaker like Illarramendi who could hinder Can? or like you said a hopeful b2b improvement on henderson. I prefer the second option, as does a holding midfielder and b2b player central midfield partnership even work?

I've been impressed by William Carvalho in the Euros so far, looks a good player.

I've been impressed by William Carvalho in the Euros so far, looks a good player. yes I can't say I haven't enjoyed some of his play, composed player, effective. he will have another chance to impress against poland tomorrow

That said I'd probably take him for £15m; there's a player in there somewhere. Would be good back up for Coutinho
