Hahahaha, open mind? I suggest you take your own advice you Brendan Rodgers loving obsessive. I'm a massive fan of Klopp's management but I'm frustrated by our transfer policy.

Playing well for Southampton doesn't mean he can make the step up for Liverpool. And I've said he's a decent player, but in no way shape or form is he a £30million footballer!

Actually, it would be a step "down" as Southampton finished 2 places above us last season.

Gotta say, Mane at £30m is very underwhelming. On his day he can be good, no one can deny that, but we need players that are consistently good. I think he scored in 7 games last season (and got 5 or 6 assists?) so I don't really see how he will improve us much.
We've got more money now than ever before in our history thanks to the enormous amount of TV money coming in, so why are fannying about with players like Mane?? It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'd prefer Mane to Gotze tbh, Gotze also has an attitude problem and doesn't have the pace and strength like Mane. Mane also fits our system better, which is more important than bringing in a big name.

So who do you think we should have signed for that money and who would have come to us?

You mean God himself, or his son rather?

Absolute joke of owners..... klopp wont be able to get us anywhere when we keep signing sh*t. This is a FSG signing no doubt.

Somewhere right now, the owners of southampton are laughing their boll**s off at us because liverpool have done it again. Paid triple the value for one of their players.

Midtable finish for next year if we are lucky i think. Especially if we are signing Mane for that money shows lack of desire to even compete for the PL.

Anything to back that up that it's an FSG signing?

Can I ask a quick question? Who is worth more Mane or Coutinho?

Some stats to help you:

Cout 8 goals, 5 assists
Mane 11 goals, 6 assists

Over to you.

Can't say I watched Southampton a lot but Mane looked excellent when he played against us and his goalscoring record is much better than any of our wingers or attacking midfielders. Any signing that is going to add goals to our team gets my vote. It's likely to be Lallana's place he takes, so we're already likely to score 10-15 more goals a season if you compare their goals/assists. Worth the money if that is the case.

Just a new left back needed this summer after this I think.
