tottenham sign wanyama for 11m according to the bbc, so he's one option not on our radar anymore He would be called a mid table player wouldn't he if we signed him? I don't know how much liverpool fans take into consideration reputation and status, it's important of course, but not the only thing to make the judgement of whether they are a mid table player or not on.

Not too fussed about Spurs signing him. Their midfield was pretty amazing last season. All he will do is be a squad player.
Ali, dembele, dier, eriksson they have enough. If they sign a decent striker then I'll be worried.

I don't know how much liverpool fans take into consideration reputation and status, it's important of course, but not the only thing to make the judgement of whether they are a mid table player or not on. I don't really take reputation and status into account but I know a lot of fans on here did when we signed Lallana, Lovren, Benteke. I think most fans don't mind us signing players from mid table clubs in a foreign league because there is that intrigue factor of not seeing them play before. Fans on here seem more bothered about 'exciting signings' that offer this intrigue factor than the players' quality.

£30mil Wasted. But Mane has done well for Southampton, he's young and Premier league proven, and he looks like he could suit our style of play. I would be delighted if we signed him.

£30mil Wasted. he's not a one season wonder he's performed consistently for 2 seasons now in the premier league and did well for salzburg in the bundesliga scoring a lot of goals before he came to the premier league. I'm still not saying he has enough quality (rather him than walcott) but I wouldn't be too negative considering we're finding it hard to attract talent - whether that's because it's the euros and copa I hope so.
