I think the Echo has always been an unofficial mouth piece for Liverpool FC, for example if they say we have zero interest in Andros Townsend despite various other outlets reporting that we have, I'd believe the Echo.

Today the Echo confirms we have no interest in Townsend for the record as well which I'm pleased about.

These last 3 transfer windows have been pure dog [oops]

A little worrying the stuff with Chillwell today, think he's a great future prospect but will not add any serious competition for moreno, never mind a starting X1 player. Desperatley need a moreno replacement

Its just like i said about the FSG transfer cycle. Linked with big name or really good left backs guirrero and jonas hector but at the end of the day we sign some english player who is the cheaper option.

Im happy they rejected it, we need a start 11 LB for now not for 3/4 years.

He's hardly played at all for Leicester so I don't understand why he is valued so high.

Hector hasn't really been tested at all this euros, that's all well and good as long as he produces the goods if we sign him. the amount of aerial duels he's won in the bundesliga for cologne really impressed me, 2.6 per match, that's something that really differentiates him from moreno for me, he's a steady calming left back, he's not as erratic. but has he got aggression about his game? is he going to bully attackers?

he hasn't got that same pace as moreno, but that's fine as long as he can hurt teams with some good end product

seriously Liverpool are done for. Sick of been linked with these nobodies. He could go on to be the best player at LB in the world but we know nothing of him now. Players very rarely live up to that.

The fact we are been linked with these players nobody knows nothing of worries me. Im watching all these teams around us inquiring and bidding about top established players even teams like west ham. Another 7th place or there abouts position is on the cards for next year.

We needed a better quality of player. Henderson, moreno mignolet and balotelli are just typical of the player we need to shift out but what we look like we're going to sign is just equally as bad.

Maybe at the end of all this BS something good comes from it, where FSG pack their sh*t and sell the club.

Surely this little spending must be in prep for selling? I know FSG are tight but not this bad when we desperately need quality in a position? Like why splash 30m on mane when we already have pleanty of CAM's but not 20m on hector?
