I've watched a lot of him and he has flattered to deceive from time to time but since Klopp has come in and more recently with England more often than not he has been majestic on the ball and work horse off it.
Andres Iniesta is 'majestic' on the ball, Adam Lallana isn't. He works hard fair enough, but your over the top praise of him is nothing short of ridiculous.

Did you not watch the game? Rooney played well, Lallana delighted he looked like a top 4 player to me. Best player in the first half.
Your partner must absolutely love you if your that easy to please. If Lallana delights you then you must have had kittens when watching Suarez, Gerrard in his prime, Alonso, Mascherano and so on. From a purely footballing perspective Lallana was a delight to watch. And out of the players you have listed, none of them have the grace that Lallana has and also now that he has improved his end product he is starting to become an important player.

He's nearly a good player.
That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Ok, I cannot be bothered to debate this anymore. The fact that you have just said Lallana has more grace than Gerrard, Alonso and Suarez is plain madness or pure stupidity, I cannot actually believe you are being serious.

...now that he has improved his end product he is starting to become an important player. What? Do you mean his rear end product? When did he score the last time and when was his last assist? He plays as an attacking midfielder and here are the stats from last season (all games). -55 games (3 253 minutes) -7 goals -7 assists -1.5 shots per game -2 Motm appearances These are NOT the stats of an important player. I can't believe we have sunk so low that we are lead to believe this kind of player is Liverpool material. Not strange we nowadays repeatedly end up at 6:th, 7:th and 8:th place in the league then!

I suppose it's the ineluctable modality of the visual, he sees what he wants to see.

in a team that scores a lot of goals lallanas work rate would be good in a team struggling to score hes a waste of space yeah, to starved forwards hungry and begging for service, he's like Marie Louis's cake and he has no bread either! But for those who admire the body beautiful and Nijinsky like imitations of Swan Lake, he's a gift from heaven.

Just to put context to his assist stat, I believe he had the third most assists for us behind Milner and Firmino. We were hardly hot in front of goal so is hardly surprising that none of our players contributed a huge amount of assists.
