Slovakia can do what England can't and beat Russia. It looks now like it will go to last group game for England whatever the result against Wales. But if we are serious about winning the Euros we need to start winning. 0 wins in 4 tournament games under Hodgson, 2 losses.

Wales are gonna have a conservative approach to this game so England will need workers and runners to break them down if they want to win.
Should start with milner down one wing, he has more cutting edge than lallana and doesnt go missing as much. Hendo and sturridge shouldnt start i dont think. England will need someone with something of a goal threat and henderson doesnt offer that. Theres plenty of players who could play for England that are equally as good at passing the ball sideways/back as henderson. Sturridge wont run after the ball and press like the rest of the england team. Hes a luxury player who doesnt close players down. He could score a handful of goals for engalnd against wales if he starts but its a risk because of how wales will approach the game. Roy will go with kane and vardy up top to start off with and try tire wales down, he might bring on sturridge later.
I wouldnt be writing wales off. They have beaten some big name teams in the past few months belgium springing to mind. I think it might be a score draw if wales show up to play and not try defend.

So you'd leave out the two top scoring English strikers? Kane and Vardy have to start, and they have every right to start considering their club form. There is no way Lallana should be starting either.
