The Ruskies were very poor and Engerland should have buried them.
But gee their lineup, formation and coaching is really poor thanks to Roy Hodgson.
And what about the English commentators?
Every routine tackle and every simple pass by an englishman was "brilliant" and "fantastic" and attacks were at "lightning pace".
I wish England would play some decent football as I really cant enjoy the primitive predictable fare they dish up. I guess the players are not that good? would you be saying that about france if they hadn't got the late winner against romania? But France got it, that is the difference england created many more good chances than france - ok they didn't take them but it counts in the point in question, romania could easily have had more than 1 quite easily that match, fake difference? no I'm joking ofc I agree france have a better squad than england, but like someone else said I think it's harsh, and damning

Nonsense, it is a results game. If you want to believe it is your problem, fact is France won scoring 2 while England drew. England is shyte and won't go very far

Usually the media destroy the confidence of the players before they have even kicked a ball. So if a pundit wants to sound enthusiastic then let them. They are English commentators too. So they are fans. I doubt an Irishman or Welshman would have been so enthusiastic about our play if they were commentating. That was a confident and actually pleasing performance. An early goal would have buried the Russians. It was the first time in a long while I enjoyed watching them. The British media just go over the top either way, in praise or damnation. They were overly gushing, we were playing quite a poor Russia, we played well, but we did not take our chances, then paid for it in the end, reminded me abit of our Europe League final performance. The commentators and Pundits are awful, Bilic is about the only one worth listening too. The difference with the likes of France is they will dig something special out in the end when required, where as England will not and will struggle on playing the same type of battling football at nausea under Woy. As for our fans, a bunch of idiots, unfortunately its a minority (but quite large) who ruin it for everyone, we have a history of this so now we are targeted by the groups looking for trouble, like Russia, these days allot of this is pre-organised and is not football related unfortunately.

The media is the worst thing to happen to the english team ever. They build rooney up as if hes some sort of god. They were comparing him to players like bobby charlton yesterday before the game. He has 1 goal in 11 WC games and doesnt do it at big tournaments.
England threw that game yesterday, big time. Then again when you have players like lallana and sterling its hard to expect them to score given how bad they are at shooting. Kane was very disappointing, i thought he wouldve at least got 2 because hes an excellent player. He shouldve been subbed and sturridge/vardy brought on instead.
This is a tournament where england could re-invent themselves and bring them back to atmosphere of 96. Unfortunately, the manager is a fool. The whole english FA should be sacked from top to bottom for allowing this idiot to take charge of the team for so long. I always want England to do well, but the media are gonna destroy young players if they arent careful. They have build that guy rashford up as if hes on the same level as messi. Hes a decent player but look at what happened to sterling.....Last world cup until now massive change in opinion.

The people complaining that Rooney should have stayed on are the same people who said he shouldn't have started.
England could win 5-0 and they'd complain it wasn't 6

England could win 5-0 and they'd complain it wasn't 6 Rooney did look tired, normally I think he would have played the 90.

I thought you were good in the first half, was impressed. Second half still the better team but not as good. England looked very much like LFC, without end product when really needed lol we still are under woy's spell u saying?  owl n magic...thats a connection
