Every season teams above and around us sign expensive players and we always seem to say this is going to be the most competitive season ever.
But if we focus on our ourselves and believe in Klopp, the recruitment team and our existing players we can achieve top 4 no matter what the competition around us is like. We've got a brilliant opportunity this season coming up and the transfer window isn't even open give our owners and everyone a chance.
Normally id agree with that statement but with the calibre of managers at other clubs i can only see them buying top quality players. Chelsea, utd, city and spurs all will buy quality, even west ham tried to buy lacazatte.
Even Everton will spend more money than us. Im sick of scrapping the bottom of the barrel everytime. The step up from championship to premiership is colossal. So all this he was in team of the year doesnt really mean much tbh. I hope we dont sign him if im honest.
