yeah and now he wont as he is not assured whether he will have 200 millions for this major major overhaul

it will def happen, according to the article, i will look for it...the idea was sell off the players....and have guarantee sale money is invested back...

am hoping it does, or else we will have the same team next year...

i dont tink rafa demanded 200 million for overhaul, i believe as long he is allowed to use player sale money (unlike wea he was screwed in the alonso deal) and add on money, we can have a good squad...

but then again, the likes of Man City will look for players of 25/35 million calibre which unfortunately we can't afford....

we don't need a major overhaul - that has been a problem every single year, rafa sells and buys too many players and we end up spending the first few months bedding in new players ..... we just need to buy a couple of players to improve the first team and get rid of 5 or 6 at the most

Agree Trepie, we're two quality players away from the top four.

reading we are only two players away from 4th just makes me feel sh*t. this is how far we have fallen. its sad, a club like liverpool needing beta players just to finish 4th. personly i think with a few decent signing in the right positions and a more positive tactics we can challenge for the title

we don't need anything like that amount emp - what we need is a manager who can get the best out of the players he has and a couple of players in our weak positions ...... oh and to put the league as the primary objective and to go out and try to win matches instead of trying not to lose them

We need a new ground a new squad a new manager and back up team and new owners apart from that we are ready to hit the blocks for next season.
