Spain are so far ahead of the premier league in terms of quality of players and the quality of the teams it's frightening. In reality, the premier league is probably of similar quality to the Italian league, miles behind spain and along way behind Germany too. Uefa's coefficients confirm this also. I don't think we'll see an English champions league winner in the next 5 years, but it does give me hope that we can challenge domestically because the quality of the top clubs is so poor.

The same Leicester's whose main tactic is to hit the ball long and early and let Vardy run after it? If European football is so dire compared to the Premiership why haven't an English team won any recent European trophies? The Premiership may be the most competitive league but it certainly doesn't have the best teams at the moment! English footy has been just as dire sadly.city are pathetic and got to the semi final, embarrassed themselves in it but still got to it.

Hadn't thought of this until now, that's pretty crazy when you consider each of their track records. I'd be surprised if any of them were sacked but Wenger must be the closest at this point, followed by Poch, but that's only based on Poch's reputation compared to the rest tbh. If Arsenal don't sign a striker that will score 25+ in the league then he will go this season I reckon. Even if City finish 5th, they're not gonna sack Pep, same with Jose. Yeah thats how I see it, but you can bet United will sign a couple of top class players this window, and while I think Maureen is a [oops], I think he is a fairly good judge of a player, so I expect them to be dangerous if he gets them playing the way he wants early in the season.
