Yep, we don't know what he took and the circumstances in which he took them. Lets hang him out to dry after we do eh?

Aye we do, but he's too long in the legs and back for them, but we have a massive Microwave oven, beloved of junkies world wide I believe, perhaps an hour or two in there might cure what ails him?

I'm assuming star caps were discontinued a while back. If he's taking a duiretic, he's more of an idiot that it seems since drugs as potent as bumetanide will rid his body of water causing him to be less energetic not more + dizzy etc.. bumetanide just makes you p*ss more and less likely to be caught using gear. Not really sure gear would help footballers anyway.

Toure's was 'water pills' wasn't it? Does he realise it won't help him lose fat...

More likely used something without checking. Something stim-based. Hopefully a 6 month ban and he'll only miss a handful of games.

If he's used the same stuff as Kolo Toure then he can claim a precedent... but even if the governing bodies allow him to come back soon, imagine the psychological effect of going from the ecstatic Dortmund SF win to public disgrace within a week or so. It will require a lot of mental strength to come back from that.

I am a (hopefully reformed) substance dependent person - alright former druggie! and therefore the last one to cast stones. I know personal fitness and physique can be addictive so understand why Sakho would take such medication but whilst a professional footballer on about £80,000 a week? Sheer stupidity. He seems to be doing everything right since being caught out, total silence on the infernal "social media" outlets is a good start. Best of luck Mamadou, to have your career summarily terminated for taking what seem contentious performance enhancers is excessive.

Look.

Just let us first wait and see how long his ban gets. I think we should cancel his contract and sue him if the ban is over 6 months.

What use is it for our club to have players who are not able to play employed?

It's almost the same (but different) with Studs. There we have another one not dependant, as to when we can play him. Seems like a 50 % chance he will stay fit every week.

If the club is aiming at the top of the table we just have to be playing with a full strength team more or less week in and week out.

These 2 (if Sakho gets a long ban, which seems probable) are examples of players we need to replace.

Or if the club wants to be nice with them: Just go ahead and get 2 new players signed "on top" of them. The problem with such a solution is what to do when Sakho and Studs are back fit. Sell them on and hope for the best? Play them sparely and see them lose interest?

No, for me it's simple: Be fit and perform or you're out. No sentiments and softness. After all these big cry babies are paid ridiculous money to perform for us, and we also have splashed out vast transfer sums to get them here in the first place. The least we should demand from them is to be out on the pitch and just do their f*cking job! That's what I do every day - 40 hours a week. Else I would get the sack, and I'm on much less money than these primadonnas!

Claiming precedent for using banned substances that an existing Liverpool player has been banned for does not sound good at all, the judging panel could misunderstand precedent for advice, this does not look good on Liverpool's name.

Should we also look to get rid of Ings and Gomes after their long term injuries? What about Origi, Lucas, Can Hendo as they've all had multiple injuries over the last season and before? Players being injured is not a valid reason to get rid even if Sturridge has had more than his fair share. He's just made of glass that's all and isn't faking as some fukking idiots said earlier in the season.

And his situation is nothing like Sakho who has cheated whether he meant to or not.
