they might be decent premier league players but the league isn't everything unless you are repeatedly finishing in the top four or winning it

he's just trying to be persuasive, I think he is the type of person who would bring in players on feeling, emotion and instinct, which is dangerous. I would never buy on emotion and feeling unless it was a player who had already played for the club.

No I really rate Long, he has been causing havoc to defences, klopp has seen this too and wants him. I am backing the managers call on this one is all.

Yet isn't very good at doing what a striker should do, scoring goals.

Klopp will get his ratio up I am sure, but primarily he fits klopps gegenpressing. Have to trust the manager.

Well I hope you're right if we sign him. Like I said earlier, I've always liked him but not sure he's at a level that we need. A squad player yes. But nothing more.

what i meant above was that Emp is firm that we are interested in him and that its Klopps call.

if EMP does have such sources , he needs to share with us more than Long and Doyle gossip

if it really is the managers call then I wont doubt Klopp's judgement however will wait until its official .

Stop basing longs ability on a 2 min reel of match of the day. Hes a worker with some ability. Hes far from a natural goalscorer.

He needs too many chances before he scores. Hes the type of player that will score from 40 yards out and miss the 3 easy chances from 6 yards out. Hes not good enough for liverpool and if we are signing players like him going into the new season we can forget about top 6 let alone top 4. Not been pessimistic but hes nowhere near good enough for liverpool.

Im so sick of the southampton parent club BS. They finsihed 6th or there abouts in the league the past few seasons. We need top 4 players.
