Danny Drinkwater who at the age of 26 has just had his first good season at the top level. How many more mistakes in the transfer market do you want us to make? Players like Lallana, Lovren, Benteke and Carroll have all been signed for big money and have all struggled.

Why sign Shane Long when we have Danny Ings?

We need to learn from past transfer mistakes and not continue in the same mould!

Spot on, I'm completely fed up of us signing players who have a good run of form for smaller Premiership clubs, where there is much less expectation than at Liverpool. This method has proved to be a failure and will be again if we go down this route!

Ah but EMP, they are not big name Brazilian players so hence they must be rubbish. I agree. If lfc are to sign a striker (although they don't probably need to unless sturridge goes) may as well make it someone who they can turn into a world class player, shane long is 29, or a forward who is ready for CL football.

Lallana - £25million - Not worth it
Lovren - £20million - Not worth it
Benteke - £32.5million - Disaster
Carroll - £35million - Disaster
Downing - £20million - Not worth it
Adam - £10million - Rubbish

All of the above are exactly same type of signings as Drinkwater and Long would be. They will not improve us.

There are plenty of good value signings in Europe, I'm not bothered about big names or big money, I just want players signed for their true value, I'm sick and tired of us paying over the odds for average-decent Premiership based players.

I trust klopp not previous managers or transfer committees, if klopp wants a player then he wants him for a reason. If the players klopp signs fail then klopp will be sacked , the way it should be.

Doesn't matter who picked him if he ain't good enough. I like him but we need much better and IF we buy him he should be no more than a squad player.
