OK We have a good team, but how good are we?? Loosing today was difficult but let's look at all of the big teams in Europe how do we compare next to them!
In order to be the Liverpool team that we all wish for we must start buying the best players. When we have a squad like the top 5 teams in Europe today, then we can really compete. Yes nothing is impossible but we are Liverpool we should not be underdogs in any competition we play in.

For me we simply need to clear out the rubbish. I'm pretty sure Klopp will too. That means players that aren't pulling their weight enough need to go.

Sell: Lovren, Mereno, Milner, Lucas, Benteke, Ilori, Skrtel, Wisdom, I believe and Bogdon.
They simply aren't good enough and never will be, get rid, they will not be heard to replace.

Squad players should: Henderson, Allen, Flanno, Ibe, Lallana, Origi, Migs.

Our starters atm: Clyne, Firmino, Coutinho, Can, Sturidge.

So we need 6 starters. Maybe Hendo can go in there but formation purposes, we need better set players in right positions.

Mate i would be tempted to ditch all but Milner, Clyne, Origi and Toure.

I know it sounds very optimistic but in today's football that is the only way to compete at the highest level. Do we want to qualify for CL only? Or do we want to win trophies?

I agree with you to a large extent, can you suggest who though to start with? (without CL football like man utd we might struggle to attract bigger players now)
