Carragher does a better job at right back or as trepie says Kelly.
Dont get me wrong I like Johnson but he either seriously needs to knuckle down and work on his defensive side of the game like being able to header the ball, stand a player up, show the wingers the outside of the line, tackle, stop wingers from getting balls into the box and his postioning to be a great right back or he gets turned into a winger.
A bit like Gareth Bale has done for Spurs.

well he was generally regarded as the best righht back in the league when he was at pompy, so i persume he is like everyone else we sign so, a great player until we sign him then whinging liverpool fans say he is not good enough but if any other team signed him they same supporters would have whinged that we didnt sign him
he was on neverly every pundits team of the season last seaon, he is clearly our best right back and in the opion of most pundits the best right back in the league
so once again why play him out of position

some of us suggested johnson should be played as a winger early on in the previous season. his defending can be shocking sometimes...
