I get the feeling there are conversations happening in the background, if FSG sold for £600-700million they have pretty much doubled their money in 4 years, so would make good business sense.

With the increase in TV revenue, better sponsorship/corporate deals, larger gates with new stand and the upturn with Klopp and potential Champions League entry, the club is pretty much self financing, I don't think FSG would be in any rush to sell, so it would have to be a very large bid to tempt them.

FFP is one of the reasons FSG bought Liverpool, as they expected the playing field to be levelled with the likes of Man City and Chelsea not being able to chuck endless millions at players, as they would have to balance the books, it looks like this has gone out of the window now, so that could be a reason they take a large profit if offered as transfers are going to step up again now with the Sky money and Man Utd/City/Chelsea about to spend huge money.

Klopp doesn't strike me as a manager who would want to go out and spend silly money on Galatico's like Messi/Bale/Aguero etc, he builds teams, so I think we can be competitive with FSG and the funding coming into the EPL and the ground extension.

the rumor points to one of the brothers of Mansour the City owner, different than the years old rumors that pointed to Dubai.

Competitive perhaps, like Arsenal while winning nothing of any note, ask the Arsenal fans what they think of that shyte and you'll get the same answer i want to give you to that scenario ecnirp.

Arsenal has been among the biggest spending clubs lately with the purchase of Ozil, Sanchez, Cesc, Cazorla and definitely spending more than both Leicester and Spurs. What do you have to say on this then?

Hope it doesn't happen. Can't stand the thought of not seeing Mrs. Henry no more..
