Without emre our central mid is weaker, klopp might put allen with milner of course. But surely klopp has to go lucas 433, pressing, same as man city away. Good draw, to be honest though, liverpool shouldn't of feared any draw, even if it's still tough.
Away leg first so another anfield atmosphere to hopefully get us through to the final.

He seemed like he was ok when he came off. Not really limping or anything. Good draw. Wanted to avoid Sevilla and a trip to the Ukraine. Villarreal are tough though.

Part of me would have preferred to play home first so we can keep a clean sheet and then nick an early away goal in the second leg. The united game felt more comfortable and you knew that if we got the away goal it would be almost game over! Saying that, most would have said the same about Dortmund last night but look what happened :-)

Saying that, most would have said the same about Dortmund last night but look what happened :-) I've always preferred to play the away leg first, that way you know exactly what you have to do at home where it's always easier to plot and execute your tactics, especially with the Anfield roar acting as our 12th man. Re: the loss of Can if he is out, it's a blow, but with Allen playing as he is and Lucas back we should be ok I feel. Earlier in the season I would have given us no chance of even getting this far, but the Klopp magic is confounding all predictions, and those ears are becoming more silken by the day!
