Hi, I saw the Barca v Atletico match on the box, I thought Atletico played anti football like Chelsea did under Jose, constant fouling to break up the play to stop barca getting into any type of stride.

What beggars beliefe for me is the idea they disputed their red card... Yes Louis could have gone as well, but, at end of the day Atletico could have had or should have had 8 players on the pitch, barca 10.

Yeah I'm not a fan of anti football, 11 men behind the ball anyway, hence I'm not a 'great' lover of counter attacking. But I say let teams do that, I love it when they get punished.

I'm not saying teams can't keep their shape, and have little possession but parking the bus to get a result is frustrating even for the fans of that team imo.

suarez should defo have went..i don't think the ref saw it but surely that loser behind the goal did.Otherwise agree but alot of those barca players annoy me with the diving and rolling stuff now..the classico is hard to watch these days. Marcelo last night too..ruining football that.

Marcelo was a disgrace, I just wish Souness was playing now, when he got up he really would have give him something to hit the deck wink

Agree re the classico, Madrid played anti footie for most of the match, looked very Italian style, fouling breaking the play, Ramos should have walked first half.

Don't like Spanish football at all. Absolutely pathetic behaviour, every game. I'd rather watch West Brom vs Stoke than the classico. Marcelo sums it up for me.

If you go to Barcelona and try to play nice passing football in and around their half and box they will destroy you. Why would Atletico set up and play to Barcelona's strengths?

Before Torres' sending off Atletico had Barca exactly where they wanted them and would have scored again on the counter attack. It was the same as the Clasico match, all Real Madrid did was sit back and punished Barca on the counter, even scoring with 10 men!

Just because Atletico are good enough to sit back and be strong defensively doesn't mean they are 'anti football'. They have some fantastic footballers in that side, Griezmann and Koke being the obvious ones.

I would just say arsenal tried to take it to them, and they should of run them closer at least, barcelona aren't invincible. But yes I agree barca are probably the best counter attacking side in the world and they will exploit that space in behind.

They're clearly not good enough to sit back and be strong defensively because they lost 2-1.

Yes pretty much every team who faces barcelona in the league plays the exact same way against them, just because it's right for the club doesn't mean it's right for football.

I watch a lot of La Liga and Atletico, believe me they are good enough to sit back and defend against anyone. They had 10 men away at Barca for over an hour, its a pretty good effort to only concede two don't you think? They would have finished that game with at least at draw if it had stayed 11aside.

So why doesn't every team just go to Barcelona, roll over and get battered then? For someone that talks about tactics all the time I'd expect you to understand that you have to adopt different game plans depending on opposition, especially when they are as good as Barcelona.
