Intro: Been a silent reader of this forum for about 3 years or so but finally decided to sign up & go figure i post this in the wrong section the first time lol but anyway..

As the title suggests who do you think will be our next captain?

Personally, i've never thought of hendo as captain material and in terms of footballing ability he is average at best. If we get a decent offer for him i think we should let him go.

I really think Can could fill the captain role well and he is finally starting to show his true potential. However, he is still very much in development so it may not be the best option.

Who are our other options? Sakho? Possibly Milner if he sticks around (i prefer him over hendo). Are there any other candidates from our current squad.

If we look at up top maybe Firmino could? I mean Lallana was captain at Southampton but i don't rate him that highly either. Don't think there is anyone else really.

Can would be a good shout if he progresses more - after that I don't see the future LFC captain currently being at Liverpool.

Yeah Can is probably the best candidate, but I agree making him captain within the next year or 2 wouldn't be wise imo because he's still young and he needs to grow. being liverpool captain is added pressure. He's both talented and he has a presence on the field, okay he doesn't score goals, but it's more important he's a leader than the most talented player on the pitch.

You really must be taking the p!ss with this one?? Flappy can't command his own 6 yard box let alone be captain and he won't be first choice next year. If he is I'm going to join you in your dislike for Klopp.
