Obviously anythings possible but I mean realistically

A few years ago I would have said no with the money and Liverpool,no longer being a top club money wise and the lack of ambition or resources from FSG

But with Leicester and spurs it makes you wonder if Klopp makes a fist of it no reason we can't go for the title again soon. Of course the glory days of total dominance will probably never be seen again but realistically do you think title is on the cards say next two seasons ?

Can we be great again? Yes but it depends on a lot of things, including the fans. Also there will be different definitions of great of course, I personally don't think we can be great by just winning a title or two, unless we're making Champions league finals and winning them, but it's a long way off if klopp can make a squad that can compete internationally.

We can win the league again, but if you mean great as in a domination over a decade then I can't see that happening.

Yeah why not. No point thinking we can't but it'll take time and maybe some new, loaded owners.

I think we can get top 4 and flirt with the league title but to be what we were in the 70s and 80s then dream on not a chance as city and manure have the cash while London clubs have the big city pull so the reality is we will continue to decline as even the spuds will have a bigger new stadia and a slightly better manager.

If we can get past Dortmund in a fortnight, and then again the week after, then yes, I think that'll be the beginning of greatness.

simple answer Stanley is now, if you are talking is it impossible then no it's not impossible but we are in the same boat with as much chance of getting back to the top as Leeds United, Everton, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
If a rich billionaire Arab comes in and buys us Like Manchester City then you have a chance but it's only the same chance as whichever Club the rich Arab buys could be Aston Villa, Forest or even a Peterborough United or Tranmere it doesn't matter who.
Liverpool for me are a firmly established mid table Club no matter what manager comes in and what players are signed we will finish between 5th and 9th each season and once every 8 to 10 years might sneek into the top four if one of the big clubs has a bad season like Leicester and Spurs have done this season...

I suppose it was inevitable really.
