To be fair to him he doesn't smile even when he scores.
He's still our best striker and arguably our best player. He is getting back to fitness and while no one likes being subbed. I'm sure he understands he is being protected.

Just to say, I do respect peoples opinions about daniel who aren't satisfied with his performance and expect more. I like this thread on that basis - that people are respecting each others opinions on what I agree with EMP, is a touchy, even uncomfortable subject with whats gone before, truth be told.

I don't mind if he doesn't score, but if he can just start to create for a team mate and not try to do it himself, i'd be glad. Too me it looks like he wants all the glory for himself. Still like him though.

Daniel only just started training regularly for a couple of weeks, the others had several months with Klopp before starting to show their current form.
but if he doesn't catch on with the pressing off the ball by the end of the season Klopp will off-load him, no matter how good a player is individually, if he breaks the system he needs to go.

He obviously wants to play (despite all that bollox earlier in the season) but has to be managed back so as not to have more injuries. He looks frustrated and is out of form and like someone said will benefit from a good pre-season.
