RedJohn Under 23 Player R Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 1,542	I think local lads are given more of a chance. A young Spaniard would be on his way. I don't think he'll ever be the player we need, but I'd like to keep him if his injury's behind him as a squad player. 1-2 years is a good call.

iso_65 Under 16 Player Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 133	He has marked some pretty good players out of the game on a few occasions. He may not be fantastic but he is a work horse and does his job well. Maybe he is not as flash as some people want him to be but I like him and hope we keep him.

EMP 1st Team Squad E Joined: Apr 2012 Posts: 9,650 Eire	I think he is excellent..truly excellent..his performance at old traford was the best fullback performance since steve nicol. top player was brilliant even coming back recently .delighted for him, i love a proper defender type me...hate all these fullbacks that can't defend and we've had plenty of them recently.
