Now that he as left Portsmouth would you take him as the next Liverpool Manager?

I don't think i would but i just would like to ask you guy's what you think.

One of the better managers available but I don't think it'll be an improvement.

i wouldn't even consider him personally ...... can anyone tell me anything he has actually done to make him worthy of consideration?

i mean he took over a chelsea team that had won two league titles and came second - hardly proof he is a genius! then at pompey he had an easy job - all he had to do to get the players playing at their best is to remind them that they are in the shop window and the better they play the better the team that will come in to buy them ..... i fail to see what he has done that is particularly special - after all pompey didn't exactly put up a good fight against relegation did they?

Thats very harsh, i though he took over at Chelsea and did a good job considering the mess that the special had left. All players that work under him like him and do well. I can think of quite a few coaches who are worse.

Top it all i think he plays a better style of football then we do currently

yes he is not a top rank coach but i think he did an ok job and was shown to be better when big phil came in and flopped with the same team

well all the reports i got was that the players liked him and he worked well.

Plus he did a good job at Portsmouth considering the issues there.

He would never be good enough to boss Liverpool, and i also predict that he will be a failure at West Ham if as predicted he will be their next manager.

I rate Steve Clarke as a coach, I think he done well for them.
