They were talking about it after the match - none of the refs saw it at the time so there's a very good chance he'll miss the second match

Should of been off when he tugged Coutinho back on the half way line, that should of been his second yellow. Instead he went on to make 2 or 3 other bookable fouls and then the elbow. Will be banned.

Maybe he should play in the 2nd leg. Even Joe oh Mighty Allen out jumped him for a header! That said, Allen did well when he came on.

Very inspired substitution by Klopp. Won us the midfield back, and perhaps the game.

Yeah, that substitution did result in or at least coincide with a recovery when we were struggling in the 2nd half, so well done Klopp and Allen. Had we not regained our dominance then, it’s very possible they might have scored. Going into the 2nd leg 1 - 2 with an away goal against us would be a very different kettle of fish. So full marks to Klopp there.
