true I just think flanagan had a good game last time out at anfield, got the players and fans fired up. obviously city very different opposition to man utd.

to be honest I thought Sterling gave him s bit of s run around, not saying Sterling played well but they did double up on him as Flanagan was getting done by his pace a bit, I think you can always tell when a defenders legs are going as he makes fouls and picks up bookings, Flanagan seems to get booked every game to me.

no way is he finished..he is top drawer and klopp loves him

he is only back after 2yrs of no football..so there is always a rustiness period . I would possibly leave him out of this one and play him in the away leg , he was unreal last time he played there.

Problem is we concede every game without fail.
I'm tempted to say we just throw the kitchen sink at it and hope for a 3 - 1 type result. It sounds suicidal but Utd wouldn't be expecting it and would be better than a controlled 1 - 1 result.

I honestly don't know how to go about it, I just hope we put in a performance and don't gift them the tie.

It feels that way, but it's not true, especially lately. We had clean sheets against Villa City, and both Ausburg matches. We've conceded 2 goals in our last 6 games and we have 3 clean sheets in that span. That's not bad.

I can't argue with the stats - but it still feels like we'll ship goals everytime the opposition gets near our 18 yard box. I still think that if we play a cautious match we'll likely play into their hands and gift them an away goal, a draw of some sorts..

I honestly don't have a clue as to how it will go on thursday, not one iota! Just hope we get a positive result.

Disappointed by this, I don't trust Moreno at all!

3. Go hell for leather. Try to RIP THEM A NEW ONE and finish the tie off in one leg.

What say ye? any other options?

I’d rip them a new one, as you suggest. It’s been foretold by the Soothsayer anyway:

It’s beware the TENTH of March
The ancient Soothsayer said,
And she wrote it down on parch:
"Beware wherefore ye tread!"

But Red Devils are no scholars
They can not read the script,
Tomorrow we’ll hear their holler’s
When a new one they are ripped!

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
