I would be ecstatic if we got rid of the sub standard Coaches - Actherberg & Ljinders!

Well I for one don't want wholesale changes in the summer.
Better to just add a few players who really can make us stride forwards.
If we in a perfect world could sign just one player I'd go for Suarez. Players like that make difference.
To sign 6-7 talents, who might make us better but also might not, makes no sense at all. We've been there at least for the last 6 years now. No more of that please! Sign class or wait! I don't either really, but one thing is for sure, we need to improve our spine which will require considerable changes I imagine. I actually think our currrent spine has a lot of quality hence we're able to heavily win possession battles against most of the top teams, but it's just not cohesive or reliable enough, especially in the 3rd tier of the spine, the forwards/key attackers, or 1st tier, incl. goalkeeper.

It's inevitable that any manager will buy from where he knows. Wenger has done it for years from France.
As for would any of them come? As others have said Klopp will be a draw especially for ze Germans as will a bucket load of ££££££££££££'s.

Mmm.
If I were Klopp and got a transfer fund worth around £ 100 M plus sales (assuming we'd get around £ 30 M for a handful of hopefuls), I would go for a top goalkeeper, a top DM, a top CM and a top winger. Maybe a top striker as well.

I think there is a stat promoted by the echo, in every game firmino has scored in we're unbeaten won 6, drawn 2. Ok this stat won't last, but it just shows that if we can get the best out of our key attackers, like firmino, that's what we need to change next season, as one of the most fundamental things. Our top goalscorers list, is one that resembles a mid table team at best, even if it's not been a very high scoring league, especially in terms of GD. It's funny really though roberto is better as a supplier than scorer, behind two CFs. He's not reached his potential, but he's not the only man we should build the team around.

We have to be realistic and ask the question do we honestly think this category of player is going to come to a Club like ours. I would of thought especially Reus and Hummels would wasn't champions league, don't want to put a dampener on it but we need to target the second tier player down and somehow try and turn them into a top clas player like we did with Torres and Suarez, make a decent profit then... Whilst I understand it Spangles, I think this type of thinking is finished in the EPL. This year has proven that clubs can go out and find the quality necessary within a much wider catchment than the same media spouted 10 or 15 players of years gone by and at a fraction of the cost and be of the highest calibre. I really am hoping chairman start asking serious questions of this madness after seeing Leicester as league champions, Spurs top4 and West Ham making huge strides and possibly just missing out. If these models are looked at with any depth and adapted we could finally see a blowback and the pampered, detached Primadonnas that many fans are utterly sick of in decline. Klopp should be able to wheel and deal a number out of the club, a few on his name and reputation in and an astute free or two along with it. The main difference should be a willingness by FSG not to set a criterion to the players he has to sign.

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

The problem is this is our game plan but with younger players and it's not working because of the money we spend on them. I would still like us to buy young developing talent(can's and origi's for 10m good deals). But there should be a threshold on what we pay for them. No more 20m on a player who might make it! No more one season wonders, no more spending big money on fit in the system players who can play multiple position but offer f*ck in general. Either buy these types of players for cheap or on loan. No more Adam Lallana's who look pretty but at the end of the day offer sweet FA towards goals and assists. Christ there has to have been a ton of players we could have looked at that would have offered more than Lallana. Attacking players who assist and score goals, who have played either CL or Europa.

Take next season for instance, You would fully expect City under Pepe, United under Josei and Chelsea under Conti would be as poor again two seasons running, you would also think West Ham will lose Payet and Leicester would probably lose either Mahrez or Vardi so they would be weaker. From our point of view we haven't got any players top Clubs would really want so in that way we could be settled. I think if Leicester were to win the league it would knock a few clubs confidence in that the miracle it would create would mean it wouldn't happen for another 20 years going on miracles in football so Spurs Liverpool, Everton and West Ham would be despondent, just the way I see it...

I hope we get a new keeper, Mignolet is just too inconsistent and panics the defence, we need a keeper who will collect the ball on crosses/corners and command the box, which a real weak point for our team.
We should go after Marwin Hitz from Augsburg, he played really well against us and was commanding on anything in the air, he's at a smaller German club, so we should be able to tempt him with Klopps contacts/influence, he is 28, so as a keeper should be at his peak over the next 5 year.
