yes quite agree, why would they want to be the only one there after all they wouldn't want to feel "only the lonely ".

Not an issue. We have no top class players.

Going to a cup final and qualifying for the next round of the Europa League is a factual improvement, is that detailed enough for you? What did you expect, we would be challenging for the league right now? You were as negative against KD, in fact, we've won nothing since he's left, hind sight is a great thing to have, isn't it?

Three new players could possibly sort out the midfield and attack (to an extent) but the defence.... apart from Clyne I would pretty much move the rest of them on.

Be interesting to see how Klopp goes about it all - if he focuses on one area (ie. the defence) or tries to fix it all at once. We've already signed a center half and I'd be tempted to go out and sign another along with a keeper - that might be enough to patch it for now.
Something has to be done about the midfield though, playing Hederson / Lucas / Milner together is completely stale. Where do you start???

Marko Grujic as well.

Do you class that as improvement ? My god expectations are lower than I thought no I did not us to win the league but mid table and no chance of champions league qualification (what matters in modern football) was not my thoughts when he took over I thought we would have made more progress. But I am happy with Klopp and prepared to give him a chance looking forward to seeing how he rebuilds close season but I am entitled to comment on progress to date which I think is not much if I am honest

It's better than we did last year Stan so is an improvement is it not? He didn't say he was happy with it but it is a fact.

Rodgers didn't get knocked out at the 4th round of the FA cup last season and we didn't finish in 9th.

Also, Rodgers had a large bearing on us getting to the league final. He was manager for one of the games on the journey. And also, if everyone is saying that it's Brendan's fault that Klopp is struggling now, he must also by the same logic take some responsibility for getting to the final.

Was that the round the mighty Carlisle took us to penalties at home? A bit of straw clutching there. And last time I looked, the league isn't finished yet so we've not finished 9th.

yep know what you mean about straw clutching, everytime I have clutched at straws I seem to lose by picking the shortest, good way to decide things tho..
