At the end of the day you have to credit the keeper for saving them - as far as I'm concerned as long as we hit the target we've kept our side of the bargain. Knocking the ball high or wide though is unacceptable.
Shitt happens. A hat-trick of saves is pretty impressive, so credit where it's due towards Willy. However, our penalties were [oops]. Bit of both.. If the keeper had guessed the wrong way the "rubbish" pens would have hit the back of the net. I do agree to an extent though, they were hardly Shearer'esque penalties

His performance as a makeshift centre back against Aguero, the best striker in the Premiership was very good. He may not be good enough moving forward but you can't dismiss a good performance because you don't rate him.

Different ball game had we gone 2 up on pens. Should always start with your stick on pen takers. Henderson has taken in the past as has Sturridge and Origi was pen taker for Lille last season. But I suppose you give it to the guys who are on form and Lucas was today. Mind you Lallana has missed for us before so no surprise to see him miss again. Lallana is a ballet dancer, not a footballer and should never be anywhere near a liverpool squad, not even this one, poor decision to bring him on.

City's attack was lacklustre and Aguero was the only real threat.

Aguero is a world class striker, he has made mugs of proper and better defenders than Lucas, credit where its due.

I disagree, and any regard for the way liverpool had intensity about their defensive setup, and our cm's workrate?
