Completely crazy I hope whoever was involved in transfers under rodgers is no longer employed at LFC

£32 mil was top end but it's not so much the transfer itself. The problem is that FSG gave a manager money to spend on the players he wanted and gave him just 8 games before sacking him. Now our new manager is left with a player he seemingly doesn't want and has mismanaged.

I've been surprised by Benteke's lack of work rate and effort. Granted I hadn't watched a lot of Villa games but I'd been impressed by his goals and he always looked a top striker when he played against us. I understand now why commentators were saying he's a good player when he's up for it, he is so lazy and ineffective most games, whether the balls played to him on the floor or in the air, there doesn't seem to be any fight in him at all. Very similar to Ballotelli. We need to get rid. The new TV deal could be good news, somebody like Tony Pulis may buy him.

I hope Ben scores loads of goals at the euros and Lfc can at least get 25m for him .....

He's not suited to klopp style of play ....simple ...

Nice try but no cigar. After a couple of posts that were more centred, I see your'e back to petty digs at Klopp.

The fact is Stan is spot on, it was a huge waste of money along with 90% of the other players Rogers and or the committee bought. Most of the chaps on here called it at the time and are vindicated. Tim Sherwood also said he didn't suit us and is also correct, yet it's Klopp's fault again. Surprise surpise.

If you watched our games under Rodgers and you understand the game, you would have noticed that he was crap then as well. Benteke was not the same after his bad injury at Villa, but you know what, Rodgers didn't have a lot of choices as he couldn't attract top players.

I still don't think he's that bad. Yes scored some decent goals for us but just isn't suited to how Klopp or Rodgers wanted to play.

Nothing new here Stan, how many expensive signings have worked out here in the last 6-7 years? Suarez....and now I'm struggling? He was banging em in for Villa he looked a good purchase. Something majorly wrong with this club with regards to scouting and transfers.

I like the way you try to take all the blame away from Rodgers whilst getting another nice wee dig in at Klopp. Klopp mismanaged nothing, he was left with a player bought my a previous manager who should not have been bought.
