Still a bit of a david ngog until liverpool themselves know how they are going about their attack. Which we don't, no one can tell me we are going to play cout, firmino, and studge together every game, and just rotate them with other players we've signed in a 433 next season. We won't be able to employ Barca's style of football in the premier league, it's hard to retain the ball well in a 433, despite our possession stats - you saw that today and against leicester, and our back 4 don't push up high enough for us to be able to control the match in this system as Barca's do, making us vulnerable at the back unless the midfield 3 can keep us compact. Barce have scored 56 and conceded 17 so far this season, I don't think we're going to have a good a balance as that, it's more likely to be much more equal. We've scored 15 and conceded 10 so far when playing a complete front 3 in 5 matches if we go all the way back to the 3-0 loss to watford. Teams are afraid of Barca they often sit back and let them keep the ball, teams in the PL are less afraid. We don't carry that same brilliant front 3, even if we did, I wouldn't employ this tactic in the premier league, far too dangerous, you'd have to play ever game ever so well and confidence would have to be ever so high.
Origi is a lively striker, I think his future if he has one, is on the right of attack perhaps. He's scored 2 good counter attacking goals for us, and one of good header, I can't remember the rest of his goals if he's scored more, but he's very decent. Remember back to Tottenham I think it was klopps first game in charge, origi led the line. I think the real problem is replacing our current number 9, benteke possibly, but origi I don't think is that player. Just have to wait and see his development, but like I said it would help if liverpool knew how they were going about their attack in a way which will bring consistency in goals to the team because this surely can't be it.
