Mignolet 7 - solid
Flanagan 6 - solid
Lucas 8 - commanding display, silly foul at the end
Ilori 7 - look much improved, on of the best 1v1 defenders I've seen
Smith 6 - defensively poor, a threat going forward
Stewart 5 - cannot pass a ball, not enough power on any of his passes
Chiverella 6 - will learn from this, did OK
Ibe 5 - sloppy, ineffective
Teixiera 5 - some nice flicks, on the whole ineffective
Coutinho 7 - some nice touches and passes, great free kick
Benteke 6 - improving, so so wasteful with his chances
Sturridge 7 -so much more talent than any of his peers
Origi 6

We deserved to get knocked out. We had chances we didn't take them.
Sturridge was OK tonight but you can just see how much more abilty he has got compared to our other players. May be our squad isn't as good as a thought it was after all.

Benteke was woeful especially the price we paid complete tripe His finishing was especially poor but there were small signs of improvement I think.

all did well except benteke who cost liverpool , lucas great , kevin stewart very good deserved better .

Bentake is just not going to work he cannot even beat a keeper one on one
thank god the other strikers are fit

They only needed the one chance in extra time

Yes I've been impressed with him in the two games against West Ham, he's aggressive and mobile and extremely good at winning the ball back. Would like to see him more involved in league games moving forward. He does need to improve his passing however.
