I heard a stat that we have conceded 12 goals from the last 19 shots on target.
Is there any point in having him there? May as well have another defender on there

Bo,

Just read some analysis stating we'd be in 2nd place in the league if Mignolet wasn't in goal grin

Probably a bit harsh, but we'd certainly still be in the hunt for 4th spot. It's amazing how we can go back to when he first came in and the signs were there then that initial season. I recall Vish and others questioning this very early. Go forward all that time and he's still between the sticks!

Unfathomable!

Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.

But who would take a risk of starting a keeper which is much worse than him in training.

I would have thought making mistakes on a regular occurrence in league games outweighs any training performance. Mignolet needs dropping and Ward needs to be given a chance. If he's worse, like Bogdan was then at least we have exhausted all of our options.

We could try unless Ward looks really below par in training. One thing for sure, Mignolet is total crap right now, he has been making too many mistakes and therefore confidence is getting worse and worse.

Do you think that the Scottish league is a good reference? I am just trying to understand why he is not playing as Mignolet is really crap right now
