It was very odd for me at the time. I understand we had no one to step in but you can't tell me the club couldn't have stalled.
1 Why give him a 5 year deal if you are going to, what was wrong with 4?
2 Was it that hard to find a replacement in the January window? He has got to be in the bottom 2 or 3 keepers in the league and yes it can be easy to blame and point finger at the goalkeeper but come on he is costing us a huge number of points this season.
3 He has no value he makes James look class, who would touch him?
Very very strange decision and something just isn't right with it.

So Mignolet won't do us a "favour" by imitating Enrique... Professional laughing stock taking a basic sum of nearly £8.200 each week from our club, but possesses some kind of honourable virtues?

It was stupid to give him a new contract when he has been rubbish all season. No wonder our defence don't deal with set pieces, they have no trust in the keeper at all.

What pisses me off is he makes mistake after mistake but never get dropped. Ward should be given a chance he seriously can't be worse.

Typical with us. Migs was the cheaper option when we could have got begovic. Awful keeper and if Klopp doesn't make that position his number one concern than he is doomed to failure here.
Just go out and pay over the odds for (yet another southampton player) Forster. no fecking Barcalona rejects or obscure skinny young keepers like migs.
