They're definitely performing the worst even if they aren't the worst talent wise.

Yes, and it seems the team is on track to prove it by achieving the lowest league position in that time.

I look at most other top 10 teams line ups this season with envy as they have better players than us. Everton have been poor this season but I don't even think we have many players who would get in their team.

Everton have been poor yes, but they just went past us in the table and are now in great form.

We are where we were always going to be with the moneyball experiment. I've been saying that from the policy was initiated here. There's no point blaming any individual manager, we've had four managers in five years and performances have steadily deteriorated with each incumbent. They were/are not all bad managers, but they were/are all hamstrung (pardon the pun) by a silly stat's based player selection system, managed by a committee comprised of a number of senior executives, at least two of which are more senior than the various managers that suffered under them. We can never prosper while these policies and systems continue, we need root and branch change, starting imo with the ownership.

I have watched Liverpool at anfield for 50 years and without doubt it is as you say souness side had real talent there is no talent in the present squad save countinho and Sturridge the former is ok but not world class the latter the same but to boot never plays
