Playing Devil's advocate so everyone please chip in, were we really that bad? Up to 60 minutes the game was even and against the run of play they scored. What changed it?

Where would they be without him? Where would Spurs be without Kane? Whilst they still arguably have sides littered with a few better players on average, wouldn't they be where we are now if it wasn't for these loan goal machines and IF we had a similar player wouldn't the roles be reversed?
