Just got home from the match, disappointed we got beat but not entirely surprised. However the game tonight completely summed up our season, we were decent for some spells but lacked a cutting edge to create a proper opportunity and were always liable to conceding, we just aren't good enough in either penalty box.
The first half was pretty even, Mignolet in fairness made two excellent saves but these chances came about for Leicester by us giving the ball away in midfield and leaving ourselves exposed.
It may seem strange to say but we actually had some really good chances in the first half as well as the second until we fell behind but our decision making in the final third is awful, I lost count of the amount of times we were in good attacking positions with players breaking forward only to play the wrong pass, from all our good positions Schmeichel didn't have anything of note to do. The problem for us is that we very rarely keep clean sheets and are toothless going forward, (unless a team like Norwich commits defensive suicide!) Unfortunately this is a losing combination as we are experiencing.
I have faith in Klopp and know he needs time, the squad needs a massive overhaul (Again!!!) and I wouldn't be sad to see any of the current players leave!
Ratings: Mignolet - 7 - Two top saves in the first half but poor kicking and distribution as always Clyne - 6 - No attacking threat despite loads of space, ok defensively Moreno - 5 - Wasteful in attack and poor defensively, if he didn't have pace he wouldn't be a professional footballer Lovren - 5 - Looked nervous and scared every time Vardy came near him Sakho - 5 - He needs to learn the first and basic rule of defending, don't let the ball bounce. Big mistake from him in the build up to their second goal. Lucas - 5 - Poor passing and gave away needless fouls Can - 6 - Bright in the first half but faded badly, I do think he can become a proper player though Milner - 7 - Probably our best player, solid and committed Henderson - 6 - Poor by his standards but I wouldn't have subbed him Lallana - 4 - He contributes nothing, its like playing with 10 men, too weak and slow, doesn't see a pass either. Firmino - 5 - Too lightweight, bullied by Huth and Morgan, being a lone striker doesn't suit him at all in my opinion.
Subs: Benteke - 4 - Nothing contribution, no confidence and I can understand why Allen - 5 - Didn't do much Tex - 5 - Only on the field for a few minutes

I thought Milner was just as wasteful as the rest of the midfield. Best of a poor bunch for me, he doesn't hide like Lallana or Firmino and at least he seems up for the battle which you have to be in the Premiership.

There is no doubt we are in very very bad shape. Sturridge and Coutinho injured and we look a relegation side. Defensive is shocking, midfield is one paced, don't play with wingers or a striker. Lots and lots of work to do. Worst of all is the players we have don't look up for it,confidence is very low.

He needs to draw up a new plan because clearly its not working and if we cannot beat the bottom two teams I will really worry.

Agree a lot with chris's assessment.
--Milner----Firmino----Lallana 6.5 5.5 6 --Can--------Lucas----Henderson 6 5.5 6.25
Moreno---Sakho---Lovren--Clyne 5 5 6 5.25 -----------Mignolet------------ 7
Thought it was a good performance in terms of effort let down by clinical-ness and decision making (as klopp said not many chances when we could have made more), could of gone either way for 60 minutes. Even though we haven't covered ourselves in glory defensively even when we've lead a match in a 433 this season. Having said that we could of easily been the team to run out the last 20 frustrating the foxes and to greater effect. We'd be seeing a lot more 7's, and perhaps an 8 to Milner if we had got the result we were looking for, because I think we had more in the tank than Leicester, even if mahrez and vardy were able to get at our back 4 and cause problems in the first and second half.
Any form of 433 you need near world class players/quality players for, because it isn't easy to retain the ball, but Leicester's players worked hard off the ball to stop us breaking from inside our own half, and getting the ball up the pitch quickly. By the time the ball got wide to moreno leicester were organized and had cover. When we do turn their defence/midfield we need to make it a fast flowing move as possible, as it was at the etihad, credit to leicester, but I do think if lucas and firmino had better games we would of come away with something. In the end leicester counter attacked very well and it won them the game.

Yeah, Sunderland at home and Aston Villa away coming up, anything under 6 points has to be unacceptable and they are easily the two worst teams in the league! Klopp needs to stop persisting with the same team for league games, Moreno needs dropping, as does Lallana. Allen deserves to start and I'd like to see a couple of the youngsters play as well.

Beat those 2 and we're at the magic 40 point mark and can all relax
