Off the Offal site today... talking about last season: 'We also had some difficulty dealing with expectation that everyone was thinking about us at the beginning of the season.'
He is saying they struggled because they were expected to win/challenge for the league title!!
FFS, we are Liverpool!!
Who struggled, the manager, players or staff? Whoever it was, shouldn't be at our club next season...
We at Liverpool don't have a right to win the title, but as supporters, we do have the right to expect our players and staff to have balls and a belief they can win it. Not good enough Rafa...
We need to return to our tried and trusted methods before we win number 19

...not enough from the players, not enough from the boardroom too. A cancer has spread through our club last season, and this does not stem from Rafa. As for the players, well if those f*ckers can't be motivated when they step out in front of the Kop then nothing will motivate them. Given the amount of money this lot are on they could have at given a decent display in each game. Those players need to be shipped out. F*ck them, get rid of them all!

surely a manager's job is to motivate players rb? i mean when players are having personal problems, for instance, it is a manager's job to help them through it ..... clearly rafa is failing miserably at that - gerrard being a case in point, awful all season yet picked every time he was over 20% fit ...... and if he can't work with those players then either he should go or they should

I actually read that again and I thought you replied to treps there, so I apologise! Damn you Trepie!
at the end of the day Trepie, if motivation was the problem for some players last season and regardless if Rafa failed to motivate the player, those players should have been able to motivate themselves once they stood out onto the pitch.
Some of their displays last season were half arsed, and that's an attitude I do not want to see from any player playing for Liverpool.

i fully agree RB but rafa has to accept that, as the manager, it is his job to get the best from the players at his disposal - and to get rid of those who don't perform, or drop them, and to choose players that are ..... whereas yossi plays brilliantly then gets benched, gerrard and kuyt are crap every single week and get continually picked
