As for keeping to the topic I do, I don't bang the same drum on every topic saying give up on the league, we have no chance against Man City in a cup final and the club has no local identity, that is all you.

For the record I laughed at those who said Ibe is better than Sterling, he isn't even close. Hopefully that will change in the future but I can't see it.

Neither can I, Ibe won't be in the number ten role because we have 3 better players currently to occupy that position, nor will he be given the chance to be a main player sterling was, part of an SSS. He should look to better his career elsewhere, but he will find it hard, until he improves other aspects of his game he won't prove himself, to reach the position sterling has elevated himself into.

No he isn't but who was saying he was?

Quite a few people on KT were saying he was better than Sterling; probably only because they had their knickers up their fannies about raheem wanting to leave. Now that the dust has settled (and the knickers are back in position), anyone can see that Ibe is nowhere near as good....which is probably why City didn't offer £50m for him instead!

I only remember people saying he could be better not that he is. And Sterling is hardly pulling up trees is he?

9 goals already this season including 3 in the champions league. I would say he's doing very well indeed.

If he scored 9 goals for liverpool with only 15 games remaining in the league, would you still say he's done very well?

If we'd paid £50m for that you'd be fukking livid and rightly so as most of us would.

It's not been a high scoring league overall to be fair. Look at the goal difference of all the teams, especially in the top four this season, it's unbelievably low/poor. (various reasons)

No. Just spending £50m on a player like Sterling is bonkers. He's a good player and had he not been a little cvnt, I'd have liked him to stay. But we mugged City there no two ways about it.

And can you stick to the TOPIC. This is about Ibe not net spend whistle

Yes I would, considering he's a winger. His goals:game ratio has more than doubled since he has was at Liverpool so he's clearly improving far quicker than anyone could have hoped.

With the new TV money coming in, player values will simply double. City bought at him at just the right time. He's still a tvvat though.

I agree considering he's a winger it's a very respectable return, (he hasn't got many assists mind, considerably less than when he was at liverpool) but I don't think he has improved that much to justify his 50 million price tag.

I don't think players value doubles though since the tv deal, so he's worth 100 million?

I don't think he is worth 100m even with tv money. Yes, he is scoring more at City but they have a better team, I don’t think he has improved much when compared to the season we came 2nd. Yes, he is playing better than last season, as he is not a centre forward as he was made to be, by Rodgers
