I'm surprised no one else has mentioned this. But Mignolet signing a new 5 year contract? I personally do not feel he has done enough to get one. On paper he looks a good keeper but in reality he's not. Every time someone shoot/cross I fear they are going to score. I think we should be looking elsewhere for a new number 1 keeper. Last night was a perfect example beaten twice at the near post any keeper will tell you, you should never be beaten and the near post.

I honestly can't see it being true. The fact that bogdan is garbage and ward has been brought back makes me think that we will sign a new keeper.

This I'll all be his agent trying for a new contract.

He reminds me of Mike Hooper and just as bad if not worse.He cost us the game last night.All the hard work to get into a totally dominant position and playing in front of a good crowd he allowed the gooners back into the game with his clown like performance.We will acheive nothing with him in goal.

Accordingly to Dunk this is the plan and the new contract for Mignolet is just to protect his value, not that it can be very high surely.

It makes no sense to bring ward back then to keep him as a number 3 for next season.

I think ward could get a game or two this season. He will play against Exeter

We should sign someone established from the spanish league. Always impressed with the standard of goalkeepers there whenever J catch a game. Not sure who as I am no scout but there are gems out there to be brought in.

If Klopp gives this clown an extension to his existing contract he should be sacked immediately, it will be gross incompetence by not acting in the best interests of Liverpool Football Club, if he thinks he's a good goalkeeper then am seriously concerned about his judgement...

For me it's by far our weakest position and probably the most important. I just can't imagine he will be Klopp's No. 1 next season. He's never been a top 5-6 keeper let alone top 4.

A goalkeeper must have ballz. Migs has nowt. Get rid.
