When you look back at Brendan's time in charge, there are some obvious mistakes that in hindsight can be identified. A series of poor signings, the line-up against Madrid, failing to resolve defensive issues.
Jurgen Klopp has made his first mistake - he has underestimated the demands of Liverpool's fixture list. It staggered me that he wasn't aware that there were replays in the FA Cup or 2nd legs in the league cup until after he joined Liverpool. There's a lot going for Klopp but he is not as astute or intelligent as say Rafa or Brendan.
It is because of this that he is not regarded in the class of Fergie or Wenger.
We've seen already the dramatic effect Klopp has had on Lovren and Emre Can. He certainly gives players belief that they lacked under Brendan.
However, we've paid the price of Klopp's first mistake in the form of a large injury list, and I just hope that this isn't a trend that will eventually down Klopp's Anfield career in a simlar way to Brendan's naivity and Rafa's domineering.
First off, Brendan made a catalogue of mistakes not just a few.
I'm sure he knew all about our fixture list when he came and if you think he didn't know the tie's went to replays then you're even more stupid than your posts suggest.
Very few managers are regarded as highly as Fergie or Wenger but you can bet that Klopp is regarded higher than uncle Brendan.
And how is the injury list Klopp's fault exactly? Sturridge has been out for nearly 2 seasons on and off, Ings and Gomez got injured in the international break as Klopp took over and a fixture list like ours and that of any English team has the potential to cause injuries. That's why even the likes of Allardyce have suggested a break might be good. The players have also not been 'training' in this period as has been mentioned by Klopp and Lalanna so again, how is this Klopp's fault?
