agree. I though he did well under the circumstances. Kept his head down and made some runs but the ball wasn't played to him. Poor bloke... was the only 1st team player that had to play the 90 minutes I think.

I dont know if benteke will last long at us tbh. I like him as a player and he can be effective but he goes missing too much and it frustrates fans even more when results dont go our way espcially like tonight

No, but to get the best out of him I think you need to him to be the main focal point and I do not think he is a good enough player to do that. He will not give us the return we want from him if we do that.

So its look like he is going to have to change him style of play as already suggested to him by Klopp. And I do not think he can do that. So I think he will more than likely be on the bench most of next season or out the door in the summer if someone will pay his wages

If ever there was a player that fans should be patient with, it must be Beneteke. There's no guarantee that he, or anybody else for that matter, will come good, but Klopp has never had the chance -through injuries- to play his ideal formation or to Benteke's strengths. Let's give him some time and after all, he IS our top scorer this season, albeit with a poor tally of goals.
