I can't remember the last time I saw a pro keeper hold the ball as long as he did! It's fukking school boy stuff! And when you think we got £2m for Reina (just let that sink in) who may have gone off the boil but was still twice the keeper of Migs, it just makes it even worse. It was £9m wasted and not needed to be spent at the time.

I’d agree, but so does our entire front players, there isn’t a consistent goal getter among them...and please don’t mention Sturridge, he’s first out the door if anyone would take him. Our midfield needs a clear out also, with the possible exception of Can and Henderson, but even they are questionable. And then there’s the defense that can’t handle crossed balls or corners. Truth is this squad is a shambles and is it any wonder, given our recruitment policies? If I was to overhaul LFC as a club I’d start by getting rid of FSG and do a clean sweep from there down to at least as far as Stanley’s beloved tea lady!

Scoring goals and our attack is much more of a concern than our defence at the moment.

We have to mention Sturridge as he's the best we have and wouldn't be able to replace him for anything less than £40m if Benteke's price is anything to go by. Absolutely no point getting rid as he hardly cost us a bomb and we'd get peanuts for him. We have to try and sort his injuries out once and for all though if possible. Imagine creating the chances we do with him in the team and I think we'd manage more than 2 on target from 23 shots.

But you are right. There's more needs sorting than just Migs but it starts at the back for me. Everyone on the pitch must be expecting him to fukk up at some point and gift the opposition a goal which then puts pressure on everyone as the opponents can then sit back.

agree, we have the most 1-0 wins this season, defense is good other than set-pieces, our problems now are:

1) game control: that is a factor in both defense and offense

2) scoring: hardly any bodies get into good positions in the box, we need 3 players to regularly do that, they were Torres Gerrard and Kyut with Rafa, they were Suarez, Sturridg and Stirling with Rodgers, now it's only Benteke

3) final pass: to confound our bad offensive positioning we rarely do the right pass at the right time


this is why the priority in change starts from the front.

The was a great example of this today when around the 80th minute we put a cross into WHU's box and there was only Benteke in the area, we were 2-0 down and chasing the game. No wonder we don't score many goals.

Once we have another fit striker I'd like to see two up front to help rectify this.

You seem to have forgotten how crap Reina was in his final couple of seasons and how intent he was on leaving. Two million was his proper price and that's what we got for him. By the way, where is he right now?

So in other words we have dm's who don't want to defend and we have acm's who don't want to attack!
