He's at Villa and I'm pretty sure I read we can't recall any of our loan players.

It's a shame in a way as he must have got a chance now and we can at last see whether he's good enough. The little I saw of him in France last year would suggest he's not.

Also the fact he cannot get a game for Villa suggests he isn't good enough.

Well there's a fair few who think he should've had a chance but I agree. Villa are shitte and he can't get a game but he's good enough to get a chance for us?

We over pay for everyone we sign, I'm pretty confident we'll never see Illori get a game for us so there is another £7million just wasted.

I think transfer policy has slightly changed now klopp has been appointed? or am I wrong, so hopefully we won't throw money like that now we have a manager who isn't just an FSG yes man

One of the reasons Illori cant get a game for Villa is that he had a long injury spell which kept him out of contention.

The Guardian has its list of the top 100 players in the world atm. The best we could do is Coutinho coming in at no. 46.
