I find it extremely odd how we can go to battering Citeh just a few weeks ago, in style too, to this utter shambles and disgusting shambolic debacle.
A lot of people point to the City and Chelsea games as evidence that we have a better side than we actually do. Chelsea were being beaten by everyone and imo there’s a story behind all that if it ever comes out, so that was something of a mirage as far as our quality was concerned. City are prone to have one of those days anyway and also were without a couple of key players on the day, so it’s easy to read too much into either of those two games, they gave us space and let us do our thing and didn’t defend well either. From todays game and previous games its obvious that Coutinho, regarded as our best player just cannot play without space and time, when sides deny him that he’s a passenger! The harsh truth is we lack class, technique, muscle, leadership...just about everything a good side needs.
