Since the 2008/09 season, we have only finished above Spurs on one occasion. I find that astonishing!

We need to look at being better than Spurs before we start talking about Top 4 or title challenges - this stat highlights we are being a bit unrealistic with some of our targets/expectations, and have been for some time.

Yeah surprising stat all right Darcus, and the way things are looking right now we won’t be finishing above Spurs this season either! But we must not let FSG lower our expectations and/or our demands. We must continue to expect that LFC will challenge every season, and demand that they sign the calibre of player that can get us there and keep us there. They’ve begun to dismantle the moneyball fiasco, but they must get rid of it completely, and start competing in the transfer market for top quality PL ready players and sign much less of their damned prospects! If they do that we have every chance to be back where this club should be.

Klopp will bring the glory days back

he better do that . honestly we have seen so [oops] n mediocre for a long long time and perhaps thats the reason players,us fans and those going to matches dont have much hopes from the club either

I’d be confident he would, providing they support him with the signing of some 3 or 4 top quality players between now and the end of the summer transfer window. However if they persist with prospects and avoid competing in the transfer market, I’d be surprised if he fares much better than any of his recent predecessors, he can probably extract a bit more energy from this current crop, but it’s comparable quality and technique against your main competitors that wins you titles in the end.

Quality not price makes the difference.

If we just could start extract quality players (cheap and/or expensive) instead of expensive prospects and flops from our budget, then we'd be fine I think!
