Thought Ibe was fairly good in the first half. Got us 5 corners, but no crosses came in!

Can and Coutinho were sorely missed!

Benteke should have scored that absolute sitter on the Moreno corner in the first half.

Skrtel unlucky with the own goal, and Moreno's goal should have stood!

Over all we didn't deserve a win - maybe a draw!

Total lack of energy from our side!

Agree with all of that apart from wanting to slap EBay around the face with a wet kipper from the first whistle,he had a shocker.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

Yeah a fatal underestimation of the opposition. The stark reality is we have a poverty stricken squad in quality terms, and making 6 changes from our strongest lineup in a PL game is just not on, we don't have that depth. Our passing in the final third was pathetic to see. Truth is the better team and tactics won today. That was just pure Shyte from all concerned, just not acceptable.

Sadly I think that is spot on Herc!

We need to have most of our so called top players on the pitch to be able to beat almost any team in the PL! frown

Have to manage the squad with still being in 4 comps. Can't play the same 11 all the time.

But would you prioritise the Capital One Cup over progressing in the PL? The King did that and look what that got him! Our second choice players are the ones that should be selected for the cup games, and the first choice selected for the PL games, it's not rocket science, and Klopp needs to get his priorities right.

If you look at the team selection against Southampton and Newcastle ignoring the results you would say the team selected today was the stronger. In no way shape or not has the Capital One Cup been prioritised over the Premiership.

it should have but he rested benteke and firminio for this game ..firminio doesn't want to get involved in the nasty stuff and benteke was all alone for the 60mins he was on the pitch... u stick a stevie g in there and we be up 4 by half time.. whole team was awful but if lalanna sturridge started we would have won easy

Yes we need to manage the team for several reasons. I know that.

But 6 changes turned out to be a few too many, didn't it?
