With top 4 back on the agenda Klopp is going to have to overachieve to meet this goal.

Arsenal, City, Utd, Chelsea have got superior squads. Spurs have similar quality to us - perhaps not a Coutinho standard player though. Klopp has surely got to hope Arsenal's injuries troubles continue and Chelsea keep under performing.

Klopp is a top (not top top) manager and he brings a brilliant team ethos to the club. However he is going to have to get ruthless with some players as our squad - particularly midfield - is simply not good enough.

Moreno - needs to improve defensively (get him off set pieces as well)
Allen - not good enough
Lucas - squad player, not good enough for starting XI
Mignolet - last chance otherwise replace in the summer
Origi - needs to be loaned out
Emre Can - nowhere near the finished article but we need to be patient

Also Sakho who somehow won player of the month for November needs to continue improve if he is going to be a top class centre back for us. I would prefer Lovren over him.

Red"Brendan"Lover"Boy" is at it again. 2 for effort and a sad 1 for content.

I actually agree with your assessment of those players, apart from Sakho who has been one of the best centrebacks in the league this season and in my opinion, if he stays fit will prove to be the best defender in the league.

Klopp though has proven himself to be one of the best managers about in the last 5 years, so not sure where you are coming from there. You can't argue with trophies.

Overall not unreasonable comments our squad is poor yes Klopp will have to extract the very best from them but if anyone can based on track record he can. The test for me is the close season and who will buy both dalglish and Rodgers were atrocious on signings let's see how Klopp does and what sort of strategy he puts together way too early for that in the meantime we do the best we can with what we have got

Can you remind me who bought all those players? And as bad as they might be (in your eyes), each and every one of them is performing much better under Klopp so what does that tell you about him?
