Yet another play maker? Are Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana not enough? Right winger we do need. I think we might see at least 1 fullback in January, there is no backup at all for Clyne or Moreno at the moment.

I have to say, I am mostly happy with our squad! 1 fullback is needed, maybe a DM, but even then, Lucas is playing very well, and I believe Can would be able to make that role his with some Klopp tuition.

with the energy levels required for klopps game, i can't see us having the same 11 every game with league, europa, league cup, fa cup. therefore we will need can and hendo and milner etc.

Both Henderson and Milner are important players in a high energy game format. Henderson will probably get the shout due to his age and slightly higher ability to sustain that over 90 minutes.
We will need a bigger squad to sustain this over an entire season and see little point selling either because they are both consistent none flashy workhorses.
Whilst I have been a big Lucas fan and remain so, we need another DM for me and one with a little more explosive speed. With a few to come back from injury I'm not sure we really know the major weaknesses for next season as of yet.
The striker situation is one but are they going to stump up the £40-60 million to get WC?

The question for me is whether to keep Allen or shift him for a new and better DM.
I'm not his greatest fan, but who knows - he might improve under Klopp. On thursday he arguably had his best game so far in a Liverpool shirt. Was/is that good enough to maintain a place in the squad though? Is he good enough if we are aiming at not only qualifiy for CL, but to get through to the knock out stages in the tournament. Is he good enough if we are aiming at a regular top 4 place in EPL?
I doubt it.

As for his wages, we got him on a free so it just means his transfer fee drips weekly into his pocket instead of a lump sum going to City - what's the difference?
I'd have another look at Milner at the end of next season and take it from there, but as it stands he's a top quality member of the squad and we have a mammoth number of games to churn through - not the type of player to flog off considering the squad we have at our disposal. Agree Donut, both Milner and Henderson are tailor made for Klopp’s game and it would be utter madness to sell either of them when we have such an ordinary midfield to start with. They both give us what Klopp craves, and that’s full throttle, heavy metal from first minute till last, Milner is a top player and anyone calling for his head, doesn’t know his football.

Milner will have limited game time, he came to lfc to play week in week out under brodge....
Complete BS gnp. Milner is there to stay and with Hendo back, it is going to be Hendo, Milner and Can in the middle. Milner can play anywhere across the midfield and thus will always be on the team sheet as long as on form.

Hendo is perfect for klopp high pressure game...
Milner get ur arse on the bench.....I wud sell Milner in the summer....he's on crazy wages....and won't get much game time next year Agree. If Hendo is going to replace anyone, it should be Milner, not Can, who seems to be developing a good understanding with Coutinho and Firmino.
