So the next 5 or so on paper all look like 3 pointers and with some quality players coming back and a window where we may be able to get 1 or 2 in, how close can we come to finishing at the top?

Are we genuine dark horses in a league where the usual suspects are hardly catching the league alight up to now? Do we just keep improving with the system, coaching and inspiration or are we still well short?

The league is very tought at the moment. Yes some nice fixtures coming up but there is no gurantee we will even win half of them. Lets not forget that teams suddenly sharpen up when facing us especially newcastle who we face next. Mediocre players and manager there but our players like to do it the hard way. I will honestly take top 4 right now if given, I think City are too good and will eventually break away from the pack.

Home form needs to improve drastically. Yes we've got the results but we can't play like we have at home for a whole season and expect to finish well.

We have problems breaking down tight defences, if that is sorted things would be much much better. Not too convinced with Benteke so far neither.

We certainly need more mobility against packed defenses at Anfield. Although we never seem in danger of losing to anyone at home, we look too labored trying to create genuine goal scoring opportunities.

I'm starting to think the same Sam. Whilst it's early days we are definitely looking tidier by the game and with the players you mention might finally turn into a right handful very soon.
